Sam Green started coaching at Concord Academy in 2017 for boys junior varsity basketball. He’s been coaching basketball ever since and is now the varsity baseball coach. Sam believes that everyone should get time with the coach and it’s as important to improve as a person as it is a player. Sam enjoys coaching at CA because of the community and the positive and inclusive outreach that it prides itself on. He believes in creating a fun environment to compete in while still maintaining challenges and opportunities to learn and grow. He believes that student-athletes and athletics are a vital part of developing and learning teamwork and leadership skills. A lifelong New Englander, Sam is an avid Boston sports fan and focuses on the importance of family, friends, and relationships.
